Commercial
client: Appalachian Regional Commission
Whether you’re promoting a product, a public service, or a new initiative, the goal is the same — connect with folks and leave a lasting impression.
This video was to promote and educate about the ARISE grant program offered by ARC. We did this by highlighting a multi-state project in North Carolina. The Industrial Commons is using $10 million to construct their Innovation Campus, a 40,000-square-foot textile upcycling facility.
From local businesses to government agencies, we partner with people who care about doing things right. Because a good commercial doesn’t just check a box — it moves people to action.
nonprofit
second chances
We believe the most powerful stories aren’t scripted, but lived. That’s why our work with nonprofits carries weight and meaning that we’re proud to be a part of.
This film shares the story of three men, Ronald McKeithen, Joe Bennett, and Lee Davis, who were sentenced to life without parole for crimes with no physical injury under Alabama’s Habitual Felony Offender Act. These men were sentenced to die in prison until Alabama Appleseed Center for Law and Justice won their release.
Our storytelling doesn’t try to dress things up. We keep it grounded in real people, real moments and real change. Because when the story is honest, people tend to listen.

hwy 101 yard sale
concept: overall films
This film set out to capture the nostalgia, warmth, and deep sense of community found along a 60-mile stretch of highway during the annual HWY 101 Yard Sale. More than just a search for bargains, this event brings people together in a uniquely Southern way.
Filmed using a handheld, single-camera approach, we embraced a vérité style that keeps the experience authentic and immersive. Our own presence is felt—we wanted viewers to ride along with us, to see the kindness and hospitality firsthand.
At the heart of the film is Mawmaw, who fries pies not for profit, but to connect with people. The response has been exactly what we hoped: viewers leave wanting to meet the people they’ve seen—because that’s what makes the 101 Yard Sale truly special.
branded content
lo key rodeo
client: lo key ranch
Branded content lets folks feel your brand without having to explain it. This concept piece for Lo Key Ranch is one minute of dust, grit and pride that make up this way of life. Sure, it’s cinematic — but it’s something that is true to the roots of who they are.
At Overall Films, we want branded pieces to be something audiences feel deep in their bones. Something that builds connection, stirs emotion and reminds you of the good ole days.
